there are two types of entrepreneurs.
the first, and highest-paid entrepreneur, eliminates effort.
the refrigerator, the car, and artificial intelligence.
we’ll pay for easier. we’ll pay for effortless.
who wouldn’t?
we love easy.
the second type of entrepreneur makes your life harder.
they challenge.
they give work.
they make you uncomfortable, so you can be better.
the first entrepreneur sees effort as a nuisance.
the second entrepreneur sees effort as a privilege.
it’s something you get to do.
you choose to do.
we pay the second to counteract the first.
life has become so effortless, we need effort thrust upon us.
we have to defend effort.
we have to defend effort at all costs.
if you have the privilege to put forth effort, do so.
if you have the privilege to pay for accountability, do it.
do it daily.
do the push-up.
hire the coach.
write the paragraph.
cook the meal.
we won’t always have this privilege.
try harder,
