Jerred Moon, a military officer turned entrepreneur, has made his mark twice on the Inc. 500 list, showcasing his entrepreneurial prowess. He earned selection into the prestigious Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program (ENJJPT) during his time in the military. But an injury sustained while flying took his career in an unexpected direction as he eded up as the crisis communication lead for the 24th Special Operations Wing (24 SOW) within Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). Not letting his injuries stop him, he bounced back and has achieved remarkable feats, such as deadlifting 3 times his body weight. He also ran a mile in 5 minutes and set some of the fastest “MURPH” workout times on record. He is the author of the influential books “Killing Comfort” and “The Garage Gym Athlete.” His podcasts have dominated global charts. They even reached the top 3 worldwide and amassed millions of downloads. Above all, Jerred is a dedicated family man. He’s married to the love of his life, Emily, and they have three amazing children together.

Before starting his entrepreneurial journey, Jerred served with distinction within the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command. As the crisis communication lead for the 24th Special Operations Wing (24 SOW) within Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), he was the person they called when everything hit the fan. His job was to control the narrative, protect the unit’s operational integrity, and ensure that the right message was delivered with surgical precision, no matter the stakes. As a former Physical Training Leader and Fitness Program Manager, he was the linchpin in developing elite training programs, ensuring the peak physical readiness of our Airmen. This pivotal role honed his leadership skills and laid the groundwork for his revolutionary approach to fitness and personal development, marking the beginning of a journey that would see him redefine the parameters of physical and mental excellence.
Jerred is the mastermind behind two seminal works that have catalyzed a shift in the realms of personal development and fitness. “Killing Comfort: The Overlooked Prerequisite to Extraordinary Results” challenges individuals to break free from the shackles of comfort and embrace the growth that comes from adversity. “The Garage Gym Athlete: The Practical Guide to Training like a Pro, Unleashing Fitness Freedom, and Living the Simple Life” redefines what it means to be fit, advocating for a self-sufficient approach to fitness that has garnered a cult following.
Jerred’s entrepreneurial spirit has propelled him onto the Inc. 500 list not once, but twice, securing spots No. 447 and No. 152, respectively. This feat underscores his exceptional leadership and business acumen.
