boring. brutal. better.

2025 goals?

do the Olympics ever make you feel… underwhelmed?

Hey, friend

do the Olympics ever make you feel… underwhelmed?

maybe it’s just track and field.

the fastest man ever, Usain Bolt, ran a top speed of 27.78 mph.
fast? I guess…
it’s slower than an average mid-sized dog.

the highest high jump ever recorded is just over 8ft.
impressive? could be…
a 2 ft. tall bobcat could beat it by 3-4 ft. on any given day.

and a gorilla would absolutely embarrass the world’s strongest man.

physically, compared to animals, we suck.
we’re weaker.
we’re slower.

but…

we’d never race a dog…
we’ll never challenge a wild cat to a jump contest…
and why teach a gorilla to deadlift?

no one makes those comparisons.
because it’s dumb.
useless comparisons, right?

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

so stop making useless comparisons.

run your own race.
and the only way to do that is to map out your plan.
I’ve got two goal-setting resources for you to kick off 2025 the RIGHT way:

outdo yourself.

try harder,

JM
