How can I help?

First, thanks to everyone who replied to my email last week!

I have yet to respond to everyone, but I will by the end of the day tomorrow.

Today, I’ll talk about that charity and 2023.

2023 is going to be amazing.

It’s December 1st, and I am already thinking of 2023.

Why is that?

December has always been a “business as usual month” for me, not a month to “storm the beaches” with new ideas or goals.

So let’s talk charity and 2023.

Charity Is A Core Tenet of What We Do

A charity I have regularly supported over the years is the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). We raised over $40,000 supporting it last year. It’s the charity I will support this year, unless you say differently in the survey.

Why I support it:

Most of my active duty career was spent serving in the USAF’s 1st Special Operations and 24th Special Operations wings. Unfortunately, I had to attend more funerals than I ever want to again. The worst part for me was seeing children clinging to coffins and wives on their knees, in tears. One positive I saw on the other side of this was the SOWF. I met a lot of the team and saw them in action. That’s why I support it. It means something to me, and I have seen the dollars used in a world where it’s hard to know if the charity you are supporting is good.

What they do:

“Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures complete post-secondary educational support and additional educational opportunities “cradle to career,” for eligible surviving children of fallen Special Operations Personnel and children of all Medal of Honor Recipients; and provides immediate financial assistance to severely wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Personnel, today and in the future.”
