personal brand strategy 2025
Is there any point to growing on Instagram?
Hey friend
Instagram…
Is there any point to growing on Instagram?
I’ve nearly tripled my instagram following in the last 6 mo.
But does it matter?
Yes and no.
In 2024, I used Instagram as a testing ground.
I’ve been testing strategies, scripts, ideas, etc.
But I am going to flip that in 2025.
Still ALWAYS testing… but it’s time to get more targeted.
So here’s the plan. And the point.
In studying successful creators, I developed this framework:
Categories:
- KLT means ‘know, like, and trust’ - the most important marketing ingredient.
- Offer - what you sell
- Thumbprint - unique to YOU
- Mirror - how people can do what you/others did
Posts:
- You & Your World: Share your story, values, and personality to build connection.
- Unique Method: Highlight what makes your approach different and valuable.
- Aspirational Identity: Inspire your audience to see themselves in the transformation you offer.
- Results and Proof: Share testimonials, success stories, and outcomes to build trust.
So far… I’ve done just about none of that.
My content has been all over the place as I try to find what resonates.
So… THE PLAN:
I am going to create and publish content in these 4 buckets.
I am going to be even more consistent with publishing content.
Ah, now… THE POINT:
In 2025, I will be using Instagram to generate leads and sell things.
Yep, you heard that right… sell things. I did zero of that in 2024.
I am currently in the process of writing my 3rd book (🤫 shh I haven’t told anyone yet)…and I’d like to sell that.
I will also introduce programs and ways to work with me this year (finally).
Luckily, I don’t NEED to sell things because of how my businesses run.
But if I don’t sell something soon, Instagram will just be a hobby.
So let’s recap:
- Strategic Content —> Consistent Posting Schedule —> Generate Leads —> Sell to Leads
Pretty simple, right?
That’s the strategy.
Hopefully you can pull something from this too!
Are you leveraging and social channels in 2025?
Reply and let me know.
try harder,
